What is Botox Application?
Our application is actually a toxin from a bacterium called “clostridium botilinium”. However, this protein has been used for many years in the treatment of some eye and neurological diseases. I use it in my clinic only for cosmetic purposes to remove wrinkles on the face. I recommend it to all my patients with wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes, who use their facial expressions in this area a lot and have the potential to develop wrinkles. It should be known that the static lines formed in this area do not disappear with botox. Therefore, I tell my patients that if these lines are made while they are still dynamic, the formation of these lines will be prevented in the future. I apply my application after local anesthesia with topical creams and cold application in my clinic in about 15 minutes.
What is Filling Application?
Hyaluronic acid is derived from the Greek word hyalos, which means “glass”. It is also known as hyaluronan or hyaluronate, abbreviated as “HA”. It is the main component of the extracellular matrix. Here we use this substance mostly in this application. With age, we fill the depressions in our facial area caused by our thinning skin and sagging fat pockets with this component and create younger expressions on the face. or we shape the lip, the effect varies between 8 months – 1 year. With a 15-minute application, it shows its effect instantly.
Areas I practice in my clinic:
- Under-eye light filling
- Lip fillers
- Nasolabial filler
- Temple filling
- Chin filling
- Cheek filling
It is possible to use permanent filling materials for 1-1.5 years on the chin and cheek.

Frequently Asked Questions
In which areas is Botox used?
Botox is a material obtained from the toxin of the bacterium clostridium botilinium and its area of use is very wide. As it is most commonly used in facial regeneration, it has become very frequently used in the treatment of diseases such as ocular spasm (involuntary contractions in the eyes), laryngeal spasm, obesity, facial paralysis (facial paralysis), migraine headaches, bruxism. Its basic logic is to inject into muscle groups that we do not want to contract and to prevent these muscle groups from contracting temporarily. These diseases are treated with this artificially created temporary muscle paralysis effect.
Is Botox a safe treatment method?
Botox is an extremely reliable method. However, it should be performed by doctors who are conscious, knowledgeable and experienced in this field. Otherwise, undesirable results may appear. Many of these undesirable results will remain in the patient for several months, negatively affecting the patient’s life. For this reason, it is not appropriate for people who are not certified and not doctors to do botox, which we call under the stairs. Unwanted causes such as droopy eyelids, laughing disorders, droopy eyebrows, eyebrow asymmetries, facial paralysis, drooling from the corner of the mouth may occur.
Can pregnant women get Botox?
There is no comprehensive and reliable scientific research on Botox in pregnant women. Therefore, Botox is not recommended for pregnant women. Although the procedure is localized, pregnant women should avoid this procedure unless there is a reliable scientific source.
Is Botox snake venom?
The information that Botox is snake venom is false information. The material obtained from a bacterial toxin is a protein used for therapeutic purposes. Toxins are used as treatment or vaccines in many fields. Many of our childhood vaccines are derived from toxins. Therefore, it would be wrong to call this product used for therapeutic purposes a poison. The purpose of Botox is to prevent the mimic muscles from working with this protein and reduce wrinkles. The effect lasts 4-6 months. Then it needs to be repeated. It is transported by cold chain. Disruptions in the cold chain lead to a decrease in its effect.
Does Botox cause loss of facial expression?
The mechanism of action of Botox is by temporarily stopping the functions of some muscle groups. In botox for aging, these muscle groups are mimic muscles. By blocking the mimic muscles, a smoother, younger appearance is achieved on the skin. Of course, the failure of the mimic muscles to work may cause loss of expression, but if the patient does not want the expression to be lost, some of the mimic muscles are protected by lighter doses, so that the loss of expression does not occur much.
Is Botox harmful?
Botox is not harmful. It is extremely useful in treating facial wrinkles. Botox, which is performed every 6-8 months after a certain age, prevents wrinkles on the face, makes individuals look younger, healthier and increases self-confidence.
